The questions remain as to how have we conditioned ourselves? What has one been training themselves to become? How is it effecting morals and value, also, does it glorify God, or is it self-glorification? What is my value to God? What is my purpose? How do we create financial freedom in Gods way? How do I grow secure and safe in Gods way? These questions cannot be solved living in the world, using worldly ways and worldly identities. Only a new life in Christ can bring true resolution, healing and your true identity.
To become a "new creature" in Christ is an inner transformation, not just behavioral. Because we develop patterns from how we live, we have conditioned and created an identity of ourselves from our sin. We created bondage and became enslaved to the way we live our lives. What once seemed like control over a situation, has control over us, because that is how we created our survival through sin we built relationships, we may have made money through sexual exploitation, or built are value up in it. The old conditioning isn't broken by force; it breaks it by changing the authority that runs your conditioning. If you belong to Christ, what aligns with that? What reflects Christ in you? In Christ, we create peace instead of temporary relief, belonging instead of attention and security in Christ is the blueprint for our lives instead of control. Obedience is not a negative word, but a choice to respect others and us as well.
There is an awareness, when you seek God and start to look at the patterns of the world, that we not just live it, we have conformed to it over time. Did you hustle to survive without rest? was self-sexualization your value? Some may have had a fear of being ordinary, or unseen. It is all a performanced -based identity. The world wants you to believe that you matter because of what you produce, attract or achieve. The worlds pattern is if it feels right, it is right. Your body is a tool, not a temple, it is for profit and branding. If it hurts, it is wrong, the pain must be numbed. Success over integrity and boundaries restrict you.
God gives worth that isn't negotiated. With God, boundaries protect you, your body is a temple and a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. Suffering can form us and reveal truth, while some suffering is redemptive, and the list goes on. Only until we surrender to God, and His plan is, we cannot be transformed. We have to peel ourselves away from the patterns of the world, which works in daily practice to dying of the old carnal nature as we still live in this world full of sin, like in sexual exploitation, but we are not living in the same way, with the same patterns of the world. This is how we gain your real identity of who Christ intended us to be.
