Confusion and Deception

The Confusion

Boundaries erode slowly, with ways that seem reasonable at first. Over time, exceptions are made, and with repeated exposure to making exceptions, it becomes normalized in society. With worldly boundaries that are easily blurred, sprouts great confusion as to what is "normal" or right.

Incrementally, you become a part of a society that is indifferent to morals, or they claim that they already have morals, however, their morals are created by feeling. With each self-governed individual, they create their own individual definition of morals.  Genuine morals have to align with God's word.

The truth, which is the word of God, lays out the way of the world. It also lays out a firm moral standard, created for all of Gods creations.  If we study it, we develop discernment, which is critical, so that we are not deceived, or left deceiving ourselves by slowly adapting to the world's standards.

Unfortunately, slow deception has been one of the greatest tactics that is used to reshape truth and reality. The foundation of deception starts with distorting the truth. Most deceptions are a blend of the truth and lies. This is why it confuses and blurs truth. People will say they have boundaries, while at the same time these people want unlimited freedom. In the world, real freedom is choice without boundaries or with boundaries that can be moved at any time. With the lack of boundaries, or boundaries that are moved whenever there's a feeling to do so, a person can shift moral standards at any time. They can shift boundaries by individual preference, or through wanting access to gain a benefit. Without God, we are in control of when we want to move boundaries, and how we want to define them.

The Blueprint

The blueprint, the word of God, that gives instruction, correction and direction of how we are supposed to live, is misunderstood and misused in the world. The focus unfortunately is never on how this distortion happens, but in the distraction that our need for success in survival makes us focus on ourselves, and who we love. We are left alone to problem solve our way through this world of confusion and delusion. It is vital that we understand how we erode away from the moral standard. It is important to learn the truth, the word of God, so that we are not deceived, or left deceiving ourselves by slowly adapting to the world's standards. This world was not meant for us to carry burdens on our own and live apart from God.

In the Kingdom of God, although everyone still is given choice, the boundaries are clear. The blueprint of our life is made from our creator. We follow Gods path and plan for our lives that keeps us aligned with Christ. In everything that we do, it should be fruitful and bring glory to God.  This "blueprint" that was mapped out for us, it creates harmony. It safeguards our lives by bringing a moral standard that produces self-control, peace, and sexual ethics. In Gods blueprint, we discipline ourselves to align with Him, through the example and teachings of Jesus Christ.

In our ministry, we bring the word of God that makes it clear where the boundaries are, how to socialize in a healthy way, and how to date as a woman or man of God, without compromising morals and self-respect. We focus on how to safeguard against falling into worldly traps. We will identify what the traps are and how we can safeguard against them, which can lead to self-sexual exploitation.

Self-Sexual exploitation may seem normal, empowering and even flattering at first. It creates a false sense of value and a false sense of control. If someone feels like we are choosing, we feel in full control, and if we feel in control, we don't feel used. Also, if we feel in control, we feel like at any time, we can stop.

We get comfortable with any discomfort of sexual exploitation, because we may even feel like discomfort is a weakness, or an insecurity. The new boundary begins to feel normal, justified, and you're applauded for expanding your comfort zones. It is a new tolerance level, a new normal, and an identity built apart from God.

God wants us to build a new identity in Christ that builds real confidence, that brings true life and abundance, it not behavior modification, it is about desiring things of God, instead of things of the world. It is about walking with God to share in the burdens and bringing glory to God, in an imperfect world. We find our purpose, which is to serve others using the gifts that God has given us, not our bodies, bringing glory to God in all that we do.

Deception

Unfortunately, a slow deception has been one of the greatest tactics that is used in the world to distort truth and reality. The foundation of deception starts with distorting the truth. Most deceptions are  a blend of both truth and lies. This is why it confuses and blurs boundaries. Freedom is not true freedom; it is a lack of boundaries that pulls you into captivity. You become a slave to sin, and this creates a new identity, apart from Christ, where it becomes not just something you do, but something we are.

The blueprint, the word of God, gives instruction, correction and direction of how we are supposed to live and who God intended us to be. The focus unfortunately is never on how this distortion happens, but the world influences us focus on ourselves, not God. We are left to problem solve in our way, through this world of confusion and delusion.
